The Bell has Rung….
The First day of school was well anticipated from Jordan and Preston….. The kids would not sleep the night before and also did not want to wake when the alarm went off, the day of…. However the first day of school was a success, Preston enjoyed his first day with the meeting of the new teacher and classmates…. Jordan enjoyed her day by meeting up with last year friends and just learning the new halls of the new school…..
When they arrived home they were asked if they had Homework, they did not….. Wow, I can remember in my day, that we would have homework up to our noses that first day, I guess times have changed, and they have……. However we as Parents must hold to the truths and share them with our kids, because they are the next generation…. Well have fun kids and I must go because the Bell has Rung……

Summer Rain…….
What an Incredible display of God watering His land this week, after several days of extremely hot weather this August month of 2008 we see a incredible amount of Rain, with streets, rivers, golf courses that have flooded. I have been waiting for that one person to speak the words of "I wish it would stop raining"…..
As I sit and watch it rain these past few days, my mind started to reminisce of some say, the good ole days, when I was a child and the rains would fall, my father would go out to the front porch and watch and listen to the rain as it hit the trees and the streets, I would then follow him outside and sit in his lap and we would just sit, usually not speaking to one another but both watching in amazement of how the Lord was watering His Land, then shortly after the rain would stop, the sun would re-appear and then the Smell of Summer Rain, Wow…..

It is Time…. The School year is Here….
Well, most of the Country is getting ready to go back to School, and our family are among the many, trying to get the school supplies needed before that first bell rings… This year I hope it will be a wonderful year for the kids, with many activities and amazing times… Of Course we all like the Party’s with the cakes and the sweets.
So it is with Great Pleasure to let the secret out, to all the Children, Teenager’s, and College Students…… Especially Jordan and Preston…… It Is Time…..

12 Yrs… But did I forget
This past Sunday August 10th, 2008 was our Wedding Anniversary, 12 yrs ago we said I do to each other…. Things over the past years just like in any marriage, have cause some disappointment’s, however we have also have had great times together, some Mountain Top experiences and yes, those valley experience’s, we all have them….
They say that Marriage is 50/50 But I say it is 100/100, both people giving 100% of the efforts to make this thing last… Those whom say it is 50/50 by using that formula, you are saying that a Football team of 11 people on the field should only give a little more than 9% each to equal that 100%, just think what a team, a company, a Church could accomplish if everyone gave 100%…. Sad thing is, we all do not give 100%, but I can say that I’m thankful for my amazing wife and also she is an amazing mother, sure, things don’t always goes as planned in our life’s, but if you keep the first things first and priorities in order the sky is the Limit……
So you are wondering did I forget….. No, I did not….

Well What a Surprise, Everyone is Critical…
Today, I was faced with a circumstance with a Close Friend of ours, I could be like everyone else or I could be a True Friend…. Most people view things in a way that “This is what I would have done, I can’t believe you did that”… Sounds like some of us, doesn’t….
You know some times we need to look at not what we would have done or accomplished in their situation but rather look at things thru their eyes, the old saying is true, “Until you walked a mile in my Shoes”…. Next time you are challenged with an issue from a Friend, Family Member, Co-Worker, etc… Stop for a minute and look around, it could be you going thru the same circumstance or situation….. However, What is this Life all About?
